Mehwish Hayat fumes at post-rain situation in Karachi

Superstar Mehwish Hayat has expressed her anger over the sufferings of Karachiites after recording-breaking rains.
Taking to Twitter, ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ actress said, “My anger knows no abounds. How can a modern city like #Karachi not have the infrastructure to cope with rain in 2day's age?”
She further adds, “Our suffering over the past few days proves that those responsible need to be held accountable! Heads have to roll or this’ll keep happening. Enough is enough!”

The record-breaking torrential rainfall flooded major city streets, damaged homes, and less than 24 hours later, Pakistan Metrological Department (PMD) predicted another spell of heavy rainfall and thunderstorm in Sindh including the port city from Saturday to Monday.
Earlier, the actress also expressed her anger over the massive traffic jam, power outages, inundated roads and other issues.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “We get some Karachi rain & the 7th largest city in the world grinds to a halt. Roads flood, Cars drown, and people get electrocuted, power outages.”
She urged the Sindh government, DHA and Cantt board for action saying “SINDH Govt, DHA, Cantt Board. Please get your act together and resolve this now. We generate the most revenue in the country we deserve better.”
