Lahore faces shortage of corona vaccine, citizens break gate of Expo

The corona vaccines have become short in the city as a large number of citizens came to the vaccination centres to be vaccinated on the advice of the government.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, thousands of people reached at the Expo Center to get vaccinated but were disheartened when knew the vaccines were finished.
Due to heavy rush and long queues outside the centre, a gate of Hall No 3 also broken as people rushed to enter the building to get vaccination before ending it.
The government had imposed strict restrictions on citizens like the only vaccinated people could enter in the malls (markets) and get petrol from filling stations from tomorrow, September 01.
Following these restrictions, a large number of people about the age of 18 approached their nearest centres first but failed to get the vaccine by the reason of rush or missing the vaccine.
On this, most people approached Expo Center where they also faced the same situation and non-availability of their required vaccine brand.
As per the report, a shortage of the second dose of the vaccine was also observed at the centre and the only first shot of the Chinese vaccine Sinovac was available.
