Another case of brutality against child domestic worker surfaces

Another case of brutality against a child domestic worker surfaced, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The Rawat police registered a case against a woman and her husband, residents of Bahria Town, for brutally torturing a nine-year-old maid.

From Khanpur Katura, Kinza was brought to Bahria Town six months ago for Rs6,000 per month salary. According to her mother, she was found critically injured in Khanpur Dam

She said her daughter sustained serious injuries to her head and arms while her body bore bruises and torture marks.  She made an appeal to authorities to bring to book the culprits.

The reports of ruthlessness have been making headlines since a teen torture victim was brought to the District Headquarters Hospital in Sargodha in critical condition last month.

She was rushed to Lahore General Hospital where a board of doctors was set up to treat her.

Reportedly Rizwana's condition painted a grim picture of her life under the roof of a civil judge in Islamabad.

The victim disclosed that the judge's wife subjected her to physical and emotional torment on a daily basis.
