Taylor Swift celebrates Brittany Mahomes’ 30th birthday
Taylor Swift took a break from her busy schedule to celebrate the birthday of close friend Brittany Mahomes in Nashville on Friday night.
The Grammy-winning singer, 35, joined the Kansas City Current co-owner for a dinner gathering at the upscale Twelve Thirty club, where Mahomes marked her 30th birthday with a small circle of friends.
Swift, who recently announced her engagement to NFL star Travis Kelce, was seated next to the birthday guest of honour during the celebration.
The Lover hitmaker opted for a chic black outfit, wearing her blonde hair sleek and straight. Meanwhile, Mahomes, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, arrived in Nashville via private jet, joined by friends Lyndsay Bell and Cass Greinert.
She was welcomed onboard with pink and orange balloons, sharing glimpses of the festive start to her birthday weekend. Mahomes was among the first to congratulate Swift and Kelce on their engagement earlier this week, writing: “Two of the most genuine people meet & fall in love. Just so happy for these two.”
While Mahomes has publicly celebrated Swift’s milestone, long-time friend Blake Lively has remained quiet following the engagement announcement.
Reports suggest that the actress’s relationship with Swift has cooled in recent months amid Lively’s ongoing legal dispute with filmmaker Justin Baldoni, her co-star and director in It Ends With Us.
Earlier this year, Baldoni alleged that Lively used the influence of her husband Ryan Reynolds and Swift to exert control over the project, a claim strongly denied by Lively’s representatives.
In March, her team criticized attempts to draw Swift into the legal proceedings, calling it an unnecessary distraction from a case involving harassment and retaliation.
Swift’s appearance at Mahomes’ birthday comes during a hectic period for the singer. Alongside preparations for her wedding to Kelce, she continues work on her forthcoming music and global commitments, while maintaining her close-knit friendships.
