Price of domestic LPG cylinder goes up by Rs180
The government has increased the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs15 per kg. The raise has taken the total LPG price to Rs147 per kg, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
A domestic cylinder will now be available for 1,733 after a total increase of Rs180.
The price of the commercial cylinder has also gone up by Rs692.
There was an increase of $79 in per metric ton price of LGP in the international market. The new international LPG has now gone up to $536 from $457.
The LPG dealers in Pakistan have threatened to stop LPG supply from Khyber to Karachi on January 15 if all the taxes on the LPG are not abolished.
