Water pipeline burst floods Karachi Airport’s departure lounge

A water pipeline burst at international departure lounge of Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP), flooding the whole area on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A spokesman of Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) said that soon after leakage of water from pipeline the main valves installed on western side of the Jinnah Terminal building were closed.
The spokesman further said that efforts were afoot to detect the leakage point in the pipeline while the repair work of the pipeline will be completed soon.
PAA spokesman said that an ordinary passage was created by lying mat on the floor to facilitate the passengers.
The spokesman said that flight operation continued as per routine.
