OGRA announces LPG price hike ahead of new year

 The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has increased the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), effective January 1, 2026, impacting both domestic and commercial consumers.

According to the official notification, the price of LPG per kilogram has been raised by Rs 10.69, bringing the new rate to Rs 219.68 per kg. Consequently, the cost of an 11.8 kg domestic cylinder will rise by Rs 126.9, reaching Rs 2,592.19.

The notification issued by OGRA confirms that the revised prices will come into effect from the start of the new year, January 1, 2026.
