Peshawar Zalmi’s Javed Afridi calls on PM Imran Khan

Peshawar Zalmi chairman Javed Afridi called on Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday and discussed promoting and strengthening sports in the country.
Prime Minister Imran Khan shed light on the importance of enhancing Pakistan’s policies on sport. He stressed that the government will hold meetings to develop robust policies to help build sports in Pakistan.
Prime Minister Khan mentioned that having Hashim Amla involved with Peshawar Zalmi was excellent news, as he is a wonderful cricketer and a great man.
He also said that participation of top international cricketers in the PSL 5 is a huge success for the country and termed it a historic moment for Pakistan cricket.
Prime Minister Imran Khan also appreciated Peshawar Zalmi’s role in promotoing the sports culture in country and playing positive role for bringing cricket back to the country have done very well in the past.
He reckoned that Zalmi would be a major force to contend with in the PSL 5.
