Accountability Court acquits Jang/Geo owner Mir Shakeel in NAB case

An Accountability Court in Lahore Monday announced a reserved verdict and acquitted the owner of Jang and Geo TV group Mir Shakeel-ur-Rehman in a National Accountability Bureau case stating that all the allegations against him were wrong, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

AC announced the verdict on the acquittal plea of Mir Shakeel ur Rehman in which he pleaded that all the plots were allotted legally by the competent authority and there was no corruption involved.

The court also ordered to hand over the passport of Mir Shakeel ur Rehman. Upon hearing the verdict, a number of fellows congratulated him.
