The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Monday rejected the petition of Senator Ishaq Dar’s wife against auctioning of a Gulberg house, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
IHC upheld the decision of rejecting the claim of Tabassum Ishaq Dar at her husband residence in Gulberg and allowed the government to auction the residence.
The IHC also quashed the stay order issued on the auction of the house.
Pertinent to note that the accountability court had ordered to confiscate the house of Gulberg III Lahore on November 7 and auction it.
Tabassum Ishaq Dar pleaded that Gulberg III Lahore house was her property. Ishaq Dar gave her a house as a gift on February 14, 1989, Tabassum Ishaq Dar said.
Tabassum Ishaq Dar said the accountability court issued the order without investigating her claim at the home.
