KIA speeds up car prices up to Rs1.3 million

Toeing the lines of other car companies, the KIA Motors has also announced to hike prices of all its car models, effective from January 31, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The KIA Motors cited the hard devaluation of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar as the prime reason behind this price spiral. The company, however, made it clear that it is not passing on the full impact of this rupee devaluation to its customers. 

KIA Picanto
KIA Picanto MT used to cost Rs3,100,000 but now it costs Rs3,200,000 as it saw a jump of Rs100,000. 

KIA Picanto AT used to cost Rs3,200,000 but after a jump of Rs200,000 it now costs Rs3,400,000.

KIA Stonic
KIA Stonic EX used to cost Rs4,545,000 but now it costs Rs4,800,000 after the company hiked the price by Rs255,000. 

KIA Stonic EX+ used to cost Rs4,848,000, however after observing an increase of Rs402,000, it now costs Rs. 5,250,000.

KIA Sportage
The previous price of KIA Sportage Alpha was Rs6,250,000 and after an increase of Rs250,000, it now costs Rs6,500,000.

KIA Sportage FWD used to cost Rs6,750,000 but now it costs Rs7,000,000 as it also saw a jump of Rs250,000. 

Last but not least, the third variant of KIA Sportage AWD used to cost Rs7,250,000 but now has a price of Rs7,650,000 as the company jacked up its price by Rs400,000. 

KIA Sorento
KIA Sorento 2.4L FWD had a previous price of Rs7,800,000 but it is now priced at Rs8,400,000 as its rate has been increased by Rs600,000. 

KIA Sorento 2.4L AWD had a previous price of Rs8,500,000 and after an increase of Rs600,000 it is now priced at Rs9,100,000.

KIA Sorento 3.5L FWD had a previous price of Rs8,500,000 but it is now priced at Rs9,100,000 as it also seen a jump of Rs600,000. 

KIA Carnival
KIA Carnival had an old price of Rs13,699,000 but is now worth Rs15,000,000 as its price has been increased by Rs1,301,000.
