Wanted dacoit killed in Larkana police ‘encounter’

Police have killed an alleged dacoit during an ‘encounter’ in Larkana on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said the dacoit, identified as Shaukat Pathan, was allegedly involved in kidnapping for ransom, murder, dacoities and other crimes in different districts of Sindh including Larkana, Hyderabad and Karachi during the last 20 years. He was wanted by police.
On Monday, police had killed two alleged dacoits in an exchange of fire with police on Indus Highway near Ghouspur in Kandhkot.
According to police, the dacoits were snatching a motorcycle from a citizen on Indus Highway near Ghouspur. Seeing this, the police opened fire at them. As a result, both the dacoits were killed. The slain alleged criminals were identified as Asadullah Sheikh and Mir Sheikh.
