92 Indian-sponsored terrorists killed, 15 jawans martyred as string of attacks thwarted in Balochistan

Security forces eliminated 92 terrorists in counterterrorism operations in parts of Balochistan on Saturday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release later in the night.
At least 15 security personnel were martyred in Saturday’s counterterrorism operations in Balochistan, the ISPR said.
The ISPR press release reads, “On 31 January 2026, terrorists of Indian sponsored Fitna al Hindustan attempted to disturb peace of Balochistan by conducting multiple terrorist activities around Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar and Pasni.
“On behest of their foreign masters, these cowardly acts of terrorism were aimed at disrupting the lives of local populace and development of Balochistan by targeting innocent civilians in District Gwadar and Kharan, wherein, terrorists maliciously targeted eighteen innocent civilians (including women, children, elderly and labours) who embraced Shahadat.
“Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies being fully alert immediately responded and successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence. Our valiant troops carried out engagement of terrorists with precision and after prolong, intense and daring clearance operation across Balochistan, sent ninety two terrorists including three suicide bombers to hell, ensuring security and protection of local populace.
“Tragically, during clearance operations and intense standoffs, fifteen brave sons of soil, having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.
“Sanitization operations in these areas are being continuously conducted and the instigators, perpetrators, facilitators and abettors of these heinous and cowardly acts, targeting innocent civilians and Law Enforcement Agencies personals, will be brought to Justice.
“Intelligence reports have unequivocally confirmed that the attacks were orchestrated and directed by terrorists ring leaders operating from outside Pakistan, who were in direct communication with the terrorists throughout the incident.
“Earlier on 30 January, forty one terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khwarij were killed in Panjgur and Harnai. With these successful operations in last two days, the total number of terrorists killed in the ongoing operations in Balochistan has reached one hundred and thirty three.
“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.”

Mobile phone services have been jammed and traffic disrupted in the affected districts while train services have been suspended across the province.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for the attacks in a statement sent to AFP. The group claimed to target military installations and police and civil administration officials during gun attacks and suicide bombings.
Saturday's attacks come a day after the military said it had killed 41 terrorists in two separate operations in the province.
Emergency declared in hospitals
An emergency was imposed in all government hospitals across the province on the directives of Health Minister Bakht Muhammad Kakar and Health Secretary Mujeebur Rehman.
Kakar was supervising the provision of medical treatment to those “injured in the Quetta firing”, a statement from the provincial health department said.
The health minister directed Quetta Trauma Centre Managing Director Dr Arbab Kamran and Quetta Civil Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Abdul Hadi Kakar to ensure the “immediate” provision of medical facilities.
According to the statement, the operating theatres of the Quetta Trauma Centre and Civil Hospital have been put on alert, and additional doctors have been deployed.
No compromise on peace, says CM Bugti
In a post on X, Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti highlighted that security forces had killed 99 terrorists at various locations across the province during the past two days.
“In the morning, in an attempt to shore up their declining morale, Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists attempted to carry out attacks at multiple locations, which the courageous police of Balochistan and brave personnel of the FC (Frontier Corps) are jointly thwarting and have killed 58 more terrorists so far.”
“These attacks cannot undermine our resolve against terrorism; we will continue to pursue them until the last terrorist,” CM Bugti added.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti on Saturday visited the site of the bomb blast in Quetta and reviewed the security situation.
He met with the personnel of security forces and the police. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan Muhammad Tahir Khan gave a detailed briefing to the chief minister on the blast.
CM Bugti praised the jawans of the police and the CTD for giving a swift and an effective response to terrorists.
He said that anti-state elements would not be spared come what may, and that there would be no compromise on peace in the province.
In a tweet, the chief minister said that during the last 12 months, security forces eliminated over 700 terrorists in the province.

He further said that only during the last two days, the forces killed 99 terrorists.
CM Bugti went on to say that today early in the morning, militants belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan, in order to raise their morale, tried to carry out attacks at several places in the province, which the brave police personnel and jawans of the FC foiled and killed 58 more militants.
He vowed not to relent until the elimination of the last terrorist.
Earlier in the day, Balochistan government spokesman Shahid Rind said police and the FC had foiled attempted terrorist attacks at a “few places across Balochistan”.
Rind, the special aide to CM for political and media affairs, noted on X that the attacks came after over 70 terrorists had been killed over the past two days by security forces at different locations across the province.
President, PM, interior minister condemn terrorist attack
President Asif Ali Zardari commended the Army and the LEAs’ professional expertise for foiling “infiltration attempts by Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists at multiple locations”.
In a statement, he also paid tribute to the “security personnel and innocent civilians who embraced martyrdom during the actions”, and prayed for their high ranks.
“Our commitment is not to make any compromise on Balochistan’s peace, civilians’ protection, and national unity,” Zardari affirmed.
He asserted that the state will continue its operations against “enemy elements operating under external backing and their facilitators with full force and unity”.
PM lauds security forces for foiling terror plots
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid glowing tribute to the officers and personnel of the security forces for successfully foiling malicious attempts by Fitna-e-Hindustan to disrupt peace in Balochistan and for crushing the enemy’s nefarious designs.
The prime minister praised the professional competence and bravery of the security forces for thwarting coordinated attacks at 12 locations across Quetta, Nushki, Dalbandin, Pasni, and Gwadar.
He said that during these operations, 58 terrorists were neutralized, dealing a major blow to militant networks operating in the region.
He lauded the defenders of the motherland for neutralizing 88 leading terrorists, backed by India, in various intelligence-based operations carried out over the past 48 hours, terming it a significant success in the ongoing fight against terrorism.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid rich homage to ten valiant security personnel who embraced martyrdom during the operations, sacrificing their lives while giving precedence to the protection of the homeland over their own safety.
He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and for patience and strength for their bereaved families.
“The entire nation, including myself, is proud of its martyrs,” the prime minister said, adding that the officers and personnel of the security forces are performing their duties with exemplary courage and selflessness, without concern for their own lives.
Reaffirming the government’s resolve, the prime minister stated that the war against terrorism would continue until its complete eradication from the country.
He emphasized that the whole nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Armed Forces in an unwavering commitment to safeguard the sovereignty and security of the motherland.
Mohsin Naqvi condemns attacks
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the terrorist attacks in Balochistan. In his message, Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tributes to the law-enforcement and security agencies for foiling the terrorists’ attack. He said that timely action by security forces sent 58 Indian-sponsored terrorists to hell.
He saluted the bravery showed by the security forces personnel. He also paid tributes to 10 personnel of law enforcement agencies who embraced martyrdom while defending the motherland.
Mohsin Naqvi said that his proud of the armed forces' bravery and professionalism. He said that sacrifices rendered by our security forces will be remembered forever. He said that the entire nation is proud of its brave sons.
Bilawal Bhutto pays tribute to security forces
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to security forces for foiling terrorist attacks in different areas of Balochistan.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari lauded the professionalism of police and security forces for foiling terrorist attacks.
In his message, Bilawal Bhutto said our security forces have broken the back of Indian-sponsored terrorism network.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said that Indian-sponsored terrorists are in panic after successful operations of security forces.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed grief over martyrdom of 10 police and security personnel in exchange of fire with terrorists.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also expressed heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the families of martyred personnel.
