Key Sindh ministers Saeed Ghani and Syed Nasir Hussain Shah called upon Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto at Bilawal House in Karachi on Friday.

Provincial Education Minister Saeed Ghani and Local Government Minister Nasir Shah had a detailed discussion on the current political situation across the province and the capital city in wake of recent rains.

The two ministers blamed rain ravage in Karachi on opposition parties. Shah said the MQM local government’s mismanagement damaged drainage system in the provincial capital. Ghani said leaders of opposition parties, especially PTI, were unwilling to bring in betterment.

Backed by PPP leaders, workers stood by the people of Karachi, he said, adding that the party members will continue with public service with dedication. Sindh government invited all stakeholders to problem-solving debate but to no avail, the two ministers said, adding that the PPP government has been striving to devise a joint strategy to get over such a crisis but to no avail.

Opposition parties did not want to quit blame game, they claimed. Bilwal praised the PPP leaders and urged them to continue with better public service delivery in the province.
