Former PU professor shot dead in Lahore

Ahmed Ali Chattha, a former professor who remained associated with the University of Punjab, was shot dead in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The killing took place near Azam Garden where unidentified armed men targeted him, spraying multiple bullets at his head.

Police shifted the body to the city morgue and started investigation into the incident. However, no progress has been made by the time this report was being filed.
