Saudi Ambassador calls on Nawaz Sharif, CM Maryam
Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy meets PML-N President Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore on Thursday, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
During a meeting, detailed discussions were held on matters of mutual interest, economic cooperation, defense partnership and the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
Both sides agreed to further strengthen the historical, political, economic and defense ties between the two brother countries.
On the occasion Nawaz Sharif and Punjab CM offered best wishes for the health of King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman.
On the occasion CM Maryam said that the land of Saudi Arabia holds a special spiritual and emotional place in the heart of every Muslim as Saudi Arabia under the leadership of King Salman bin Abdulaziz is the sign of hope, dignity, and development for Ummah. She said relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan were based on mutual trust, shared values and long-lived brotherhood.
CM Punjab said relation with Saudi Arabia is the primary pillar of Pakistan's foreign policy, which is consistently strengthening in political, economic and other fields.
CM Punjab also thanked the Saudi Government for hosting 2.5 million Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.
