Wasim Akram reunited with missing pet dog after public appeal

Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram has been reunited with his missing pet dog, Duke, days after appealing to the public for help in locating the animal, 24NewsHD TV reported on Friday.

Akram had announced that Duke, a young black dog, had gone missing from DHA Phase 8, Karachi, and offered a Rs250,000 cash reward for information leading to the pet's safe return.

He shared the appeal through his Instagram story, urging people to help find the dog.

The former fast-bowling great later confirmed through a video on social media that Duke had been found safely.

In the video, Akram expressed his gratitude to everyone who assisted in the search, including members of the public and police officers, for their efforts in helping recover his pet.

His wife, Shaniera Akram, also celebrated Duke's safe return by sharing photographs of the dog on her Instagram story.
