Jang Group Publisher Mir Javedur Rahman passes away

Chairman and Printer Publisher Jang Group Mir Javedur Rahman, the eldest son of Mir Khalilur Rahman, and brother of Mir Shakilur Rahman, passed away on Tuesday.
He was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in Karachi. Hewas suffering from lung cancer.
It is pertinent to mention that the NAB had allowed Mir Shakilur Rehman to meet his ailing brother and Daily Jang printer and publisher Mir Javedur Rahman for one day. “Mir Shaikur Rahman can go to Karachi for one day to visit his ailing brother, however, he will remain under NAB detention,” said NAB statement.
It was only possible after Federal Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari requested the bureau to allow Mir Shakil to meet his brother on humanitarian grounds.
