IMF releases third tranche of $500 million to Pakistan

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has released the third tranche of around $500 million to Pakistan under a loan programme.
According to an announcement made by the government on Tuesday, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has received the loan amount from the IMF. The IMF board had approved this amount for Pakistan last week.
