Federal Minister for Planning, Development, Reforms and Special Initiatives Asad Umar Thursday said the drama staged by the joint opposition to call the letter 'forged' should be ended now, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to the media after the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Asad Umar said that now with the announcement of the National Security Committee, this debate should be ended.

Asad said If Imran Khan was afraid of anyone, he would not have stood in front of the world powers.

Asad went on to say if 10 to 15 billion rupees are thrown away, some of the people gets trapped.

Asad said that at the request of the opposition, the government brought a resolution to bring the matter of the letter in the House of the National Assembly, but the opposition opposed this move. He added the opposition backed away from its own demand.

Asad said the opposition had also asked to convene a meeting of the parliamentary committee on national security.

Now the nation sees why the opposition is running away from seeing the letter if it is not part of the conspiracy, Asad said.
