Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar will inaugurate Viqar-un-Nisa University for Women located in Rawalpindi virtually from CM Secretariat, Lahore most likely his last event as CM, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It has been reported that after today's event, the resignation of the chief minister Usman Buzdar will be accepted.

Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the upgradation of Viqar-un-Nisa College to university level at 3pm.

Punjab CM will sign the up-gradation notification of the college into university.

Sheikh Rasheed said that it will be the last event of Usman Buzdar as Punjab CM.

The minister said that he will also participate especially in the event. He said Rawalpindi will be the only university in Pakistan having four universities only for women.

The interior minister will also talk to the press after the event as well.

Sheikh Rasheed thanked Punjab Prime Minister Imran Khan, CM Usman Buzdar and Punjab Governor Chaudhary Sarwar for the up-gradation of the Viqar-un-Nisa College, Rawalpindi into the university.
