Customs officers arrested a green passport holder gold smuggler with heavy yellow metal at Allama Iqbal International Airport on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the authorities seized two gold bars of 471.750 grams from a passenger named Abdullah travelling to Dubai on PIA flight PK-302.
As per the report, an FIR has been registered with the arrest of the accused and further investigation has been started.
The customs officials said the gold is worth more than Rs10 million.
