Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Friday gave a written assurance to the Supreme Court for remaining peaceful during the general elections for the sake of the survival of democracy in the country.
According to the details, PTI has assured the Supreme Court that it will bring peace and reduce the political temperature during the elections.
In the written assurance, it has been stated that government repression against the PTI was continuing, but they are assuring the court for the sake of the survival of democracy.
The written assurance further states that if all political parties remain peaceful and there are no corrupt practices during the election campaign and election day, the PTI will also remain peaceful.
The party has further said that any kind of weapons and aerial firing should be banned during the election process across the country.
The PTI also declared in the written assurance that it will hold meetings and rallies only in those places where security will be assured.
