With bandaged arm, Ishaq Dar leaves for China
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar left Islamabad on Tuesday morning for Beijing on a one-day visit of China, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It may be mentioned here that Ishaq Dar embarked on China visit despite medical advice to rest after he fractured his shoulder.
The video footage of his departure showed that the deputy prime minister was boarding the plane with his right arm bandaged, apparently wearing a shoulder sling.
According to a post uploaded on X platform, the Foreign Office said DPM Ishaq Dar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a meeting in Beijing will review bilateral ties and discuss regional and global issues of mutual interest.
This marks the deputy prime minister's second visit to Beijing this year.

In an earlier statement, the FO said the deputy prime minister’s visit to China, despite medical advice to rest following his hairline shoulder fracture on Monday, is evidence of the importance placed by Pakistan on its relationship with China.
