Pakistan, Turkiye agree to enhance cooperation in higher education

Pakistan and Turkiye have agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of higher education, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

In this regard, Higher Education Commission (HEC) Chairman Dr Niaz Ahmed held an important meeting with Turkish Ambassador Dr Irfan Naziroglu.

Joint projects in artificial intelligence, cyber security and digital transformation were discussed in the meeting.

The meeting also proposed to establish 'Pak-Turk pool' of experts for scientific research between the two countries.

Joint research programs to be launched in medical, agriculture, physics and social sciences.

The meeting decided to further expand joint degree programs, including faculty and student exchanges.
