Punjab CNF seizes drugs worth 30m, arrests six near Sheikhupura

The Punjab Counter Narcotics Force (CNF) claimed to have seized about 100 kg of narcotics worth an estimated 30 million rupees from a vehicle near the Sheikhupura Interchange and arrested six people, including five women, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday. 

The suspects, including one man and five women, were detained during a checkpoint operation after officials stopped the vehicle and recovered the drugs, the force said.

Authorities said the narcotics were being transported to Gujranwala and Sialkot.

According to the director general of CNF Punjab, a case has been registered against the suspects, and further investigation is underway to determine the source of the drugs and identify others linked to the network.
