Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Pakistan Nong Rong along with Director of Political Section Wang Sheng Ji Monday called on National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice laved Iqbal, at NAB Headquarters on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a NAB press release, the meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere in which matters of bilateral interest including mutual legal assistance, the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and training needing assistance for the capacity building came under discussion. 

NAB Chairman Justice Javed Iqbal elaborated the performance of NAB for eradication of corruption from Pakistan by adopting ‘accountability for all’ policy which were lauded by reputable national and international organizations. 

The Chinese Ambassador appreciated the efforts and firm resolve of NAB under the dynamic leadership of the NAB Chairman in order to eradicate corruption from Pakistan.

Both sides reiterated cooperation in all areas to eradicate corruption.
