Garments’ exports to reach $21 billion this year: APTMA
All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) on Tuesday demanded the government to fix the energy rates on a regional basis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, the APTMA office-bearers said that during the first 10 months of the ongoing year, clothes worth $16 billion were exported, the amount 26 per cent higher than that of the last year, and it was expected to touch $21 billion mark in the next two months.
Next year, they added, these exports were likely to reach $27 billion.
