Sanaullah says Imran Khan will be tried in military courts

Federal Minister for Interior Affairs Rana Sanaullah said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will be tried in a military court for planning and attacks on military installations on May 9.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Sanaullah said that Imran personally planned the attacks on military installations before his detention and there was proof to back up this assertion.
Rana Sanaullah while talking to Dawn News said on May 9, when Imran Khan was arrested in the Al Qadir Trust case in Islamabad, at least eight people were killed, 290 injured, and over 1,900 protesters were apprehended.
He said the violent demonstrators ransacked Jinnah House, the corps commander's mansion in Lahore, and tore down the General Headquarters (GHQ) gate in Rawalpindi.
Rana Sanaullah said the government and military had reacted strongly to the riots and promised to punish those responsible.
The interior minister said the PTI supporters chanted the slogan “Imran Khan is our red line”, so all the planning and preparations were done on the former premier’s initiative and instigation.
