Hot and dry weather forecast in most parts

Most areas of Pakistan are expected to experience hot and dry weather tonight, according to the Meteorological Department, as reported by 24 NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

However, rain with thunder and strong winds is expected in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, the Pothohar region, northeast Punjab, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan. 

Some places may receive heavy rain and hail as well. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, districts like Mansehra, Abbottabad, Swat, Peshawar, and others may see dust storms, strong winds, and scattered thunderstorms.

Similarly, the northern parts of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sialkot, Gujranwala, and Murree, may also see partly cloudy skies, gusty winds, and rain.

Meanwhile, central and southern Punjab will remain very hot and dry.

In Sindh, including Karachi, and most of Balochistan, the weather will remain extremely hot and dry. Dusty winds are also likely in parts of Balochistan.

The authorities have advised people to stay safe and take necessary precautions during extreme weather and possible storms.
