Female patient dies, three injured after ambulance catches fire in Toba Tek Singh

A woman was killed and three other people were injured after a private ambulance carrying a patient caught fire in Toba Tek Singh, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to initial reports, the private ambulance was transporting a patient to Pir Mahal when the vehicle suddenly caught fire during the journey.

The blaze resulted in the death of a woman travelling in the ambulance, while three other occupants sustained injuries. 

Emergency responders and local authorities attended the scene following the incident.

Officials said the ambulance driver fled the area after the fire broke out. 

The circumstances surrounding the incident are being investigated, and authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire.

The injured were provided medical assistance, while further inquiries have been launched into the accident.
