Sindh police claim notorious suspect killed during Moro operation

A man wanted in more than 40 criminal cases was killed during an alleged police encounter in the Moro area of Sindh, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.

According to police sources, the incident took place in Sindh Colony, where officers reportedly exchanged fire with a group of armed suspects during an operation.

The suspect, identified as Jani Wasatro, sustained a gunshot wound to the head during the confrontation and died at the scene.

Police sources said two of his alleged accomplices managed to escape during the exchange of fire.

A search operation was launched in the area to trace and apprehend the fugitives.

Police stated that the deceased suspect had been wanted in the districts of Naushahro Feroze, Dadu and Bhiria in connection with more than 40 criminal cases.
