Maryam asks ‘Sher Jawans’ to join hands with Nawaz for final battle
PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on Saturday asked the youth to join a new movement “Sher Jawan” to be launched tomorrow to restore Quaid-i-Azam’s Pakistan and fight for their own future.
In a series of tweets, she said students were Quaid's frontline force at the time of independence and Pakistan once again beckoned them. ““It is also a fight for your future. Join hands with Nawaz Sharif in this final battle of Vote ko Izzat Do [respect the vote],” Maryam remarked.
Students were Quaid's frontline force at the time of Independence. Once again Pak beckons you. Time has come to restore Quaid's Pak. It is also a fight for your future. A video clip, which was posted in the tweet, mentions slogans like “Democracy: of the people, for the people, by the people”, “I will stand up, I will speak out for not to offend but to defend” and “my vote, my right”.
But perhaps the most significant slogan or message is “why the voice asking you a question is a traitor”.
Maryam, addressing the youth, said, “This is your movement,” and added that they were the nation’s strength, voice, destiny and future.
