Amid the ongoing crackdown on the opposition parties in connection with the rally planned in Lahore on December 13, another PML-N leader Malik Saif ul Malook Khokhar has been booked by Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The case was registered on the basis of a reference filed by Lahore Deputy Commissioner Mudassar Riaz Malik.

Khokhar has been accused of causing a loss of millions of rupees in registration fee by forging documents as he got registered a surrender deed for 22 kanals and 11 marlas of land, the reference says.

It is said that the PML-N bought the piece of land from Farzand Ali and Usman at a time when they were not shareholders in the property.

This development came as PML-N Vice-president will address a social media convention of her party workers and supporters at Khokhar Palace on Sunday (December 6). A speech by Nawaz Sharif – the party supremo – via video link is also part of the programme.

Maryam Nawaz

The PML-N has prepared a plan in connection with the PDM rally under which Maryam Nawaz will participate in different public gatherings and events from December 7 to December 10, sources say.

A meeting held at the party’s Model Town secretariat with senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique in the chair decided that the PML-N Vice-president will lead a rally in northern Lahore on December 7. She is scheduled to address a workers’ convention in the constituency of Saad on the very next day.

On December 9, a bike rally will start from Model Town to Data Darbar on the Ferozepur Road.

But on December 10, Maryam is going to lead a rally on the Ferozepur Road which will also culminate at Data Darbar.

Meanwhile, the sources say this initial plan has been shared with the top PML-N leadership.

Govt making world record of political cases: Rana Sana

Senior PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah said on Friday that the incumbent government is making world record of lodging political cases.
Talking to the media men in Lahore, Rana Sanaullah said workers convention will be held peacefully in Faisalabad but the administration is unduly arresting party workers.
“Such steps should not be taken which would deteriorate the situation,” he said while warning of serious consequences in case of political detentions.
The PML-N leader said Nawaz Sharif is in London for medical treatment and will return to Pakistan after recovering. PML-N had requested for 15-day parole of party president Shehbaz Sharif but the government displayed an inhumane attitude, Rana Sanaullah commented.

Marriyum Aurangzeb

On the other hand, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said PDM’s Lahore rally on December 13 will be the final nail in the government’s coffin as vote thieves will be sent packing.
She addressed a presser in Lahore and said Prime Minister Imran Khan has understood that people are behind this campaign and it is better that he resigns himself before December 13.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said mafias have taken over the country but it is time for them to go home.
