The Supreme Court (SC) on Tuesday sought from the Sindh government details of all the Mal Khanas of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In his remarks during the hearing of an appeal filed against the reinstatement of in-charge Mirpurkhas Mal Khana on court orders, Justice Qazi Faez Isa of the SC said that there was decay in all the state institutions. “Everybody here thinks the state is its property,” he said.

Referring to the case related to the stealth of 60 tolas of gold from Mirpurkhas Mal Khana, Justice Isa regretted that despite the fact that the gold was stolen in such a large quantity, it appeared as if the case was closed and nobody was interested in pursuing it further.
