Authorities in Lahore claiming to have vaccinated late actor Qazi Wajid against Covid-19

The height of ridicule – Late actor Qazi Wajid who passed away in 2018 is now being featured on the Corona Vaccine Poster in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Let us explain. Late actor Qazi Wajid’s picture is being showcased on the Corona Vaccine Poster in Lahore and it is being claimed that the ‘late’ actor has been successfully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Qazi Wajid was a Pakistani television actor. Some of his notable projects included Tanhaiyaan, Dhoop Kinare, Mehndi, Khuda Ki Basti and Ankahi.
Mr Wajid passed away in Karachi on 11 February 2018.
The carelessness on the part of Lahore authorities which has showcased a deceased actor as being one vaccinated against Covid-19 reflects strongly on the government’s irresponsible behaviour.
However, Commissioner Lahore Captain Usman has issued immediate notice for the ‘brainless’ mistake to be corrected.
