Hot favourites Lahore Qalandars will take on formidable Multan Sultans in 20th match of the Pakistan Super League Season 8 at Qaddafi Stadium in Lahore tonight.
This PSL season the Qalandars have had the most success as they have won five of their first six games. They are positioned at the top of the points table. They have won their previous four games before this one.

The match will start at 07:30 PM (PST) – 02:00 PM (GMT)
Lahore Qalandars are in emphatic form as they've registered consecutive wins in their last four matches and have displaced Multan Sultans at the top of the points table, with five wins in six matches.

Fakhar Zaman has been the top run-getter for the Qalandars with 239 runs in six matches, followed by Sikandar Raza, who stepped up with a 71* in their last match when the rest of the batting faltered.

Raza has scored 163 runs in five innings, while Abdullah Shafique and Mirza Baig have scored 135 runs each in three and six matches respectively.

Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has led the Qaladnars' bowling from the front and has registered 10 wickets in six matches along with a 5-for to his name. Namibian all-rounder David Wiese and Pakistani pacer Haris Rauf have picked up seven wickets each in six matches, while Afghan spinner Rashid Khan has managed six wickets in four matches.

Points Table after Friday's match

Multan Sultans on the other hand are placed 2nd on the points table with four wins in six matches. Captain Mohammad Rizwan has been the top-scorer for his team with 358 runs in six matches and is also the leading run scorer in PSL 8 currently. Rilee Rossouw has contributed with 225 runs, followed by Shan Masood (137 runs) and David Miller (107 runs).

Pace sensation Ihsanullah is the leading wicket-taker with 14 scalps to his name in six matches. Abbas Afridi has picked up 10 wickets in five matches while spinner Usama Mir has grabbed nine wickets in six matches. However, none of the other bowlers have managed more than two wickets this season which can be a cause of concern for Multan Sultans.

The pitch for the match is a batting surface; a total of 24 matches have been played here; of those, 13 matches have been won by the team batting first, and 11 matches have been won by the team bowling first. This pitch has an average score of 160. After winning the toss, it would be wise to bat first.
