Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Cell Islamabad Saturday arrested a youth involved in child pornography and blackmailing kids on social media from Kot Momin, a tehsil of Sargodha district.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the FIA had confiscated five fake accounts of the accused Karim Ijaz son of Ijaz Ahmad, 20y, on Facebook was registered in the names of females.

The accused was using the accounts to collect the data of children on social media and then provoked them for nudity in a tricky way.

When the innocent kids were trapped and acted as she (he) told them on the fake Facebook accounts, the accused recorded the immoral videos to blackmail in future.

He was running the fake Facebook accounts from remote areas of Sargodha district in Punjab and tried to blackmail a kid of the complainant who filed a case in the FIA.

The FIA Cyberteam immediately came into action and arrested the accused from Kot Momin and recovered five fake accounts and several immoral videos of kids as well as some video calls’ record.

The FIA advised the parents that they should keep eye on their children using social media and remain careful about their activities, chats and links with strangers.
