National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has convened a session of the National Assembly after Eid-ul-Fitr, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday.

The National Assembly session has been convened on April 15 at 5:00 pm which was called under clause three of Article 54 of the Constitution.

This will be the third session of the 16th National Assembly.

Earlier, PTI leader Omar Ayub was declared as leader of the opposition in the National Assembly after the secretariat of the lower house of parliament issued a notification for this purpose.
