Police in Pattoki on Saturday arrested a stone-hearted man who has thrown his five children into a canal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rescue officials have retrieved the bodies of two children, namely four-year-old Faiza and two-year-old Muhammad Ahmad, while a search for the remaining three was under way.

The man, Ibrahim, threw the children into BS Link Canal near Chakoki area after a quarrel with his wife. 

DPO and DSP of Changa Manga Police Station have taken the bodies into custody and launched an investigation.
