FIR sought against PM at Swabi police station

The brother of a PTI activist who died during Azadi March submitted an application for registration of a case against the prime minister, Punjab CM and others in a Swabi police station on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The brother of deceased PTI activist Syed Ahmad Jan who fell from a bridge submitted his application in Chota Lahore police station in Swabi requesting to register a case against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, Punjab IG police, IG Motorway, Rawalpindi RPO and Attock DPO. 

The sibling of the late PTI activist, Mehmood Jan said in his application that his brother took part in the Azadi March by using his democratic right. He further said that on Motorway bridge, containers were illegally placed at the behest of PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and PM Shehbaz Sharif. 

He said that the administration tried to snatch the democratic right of PTI marchers including his brother. 

Mehmood Jan said his brother fell down from the bridge and died. He was trying to remove a container placed on the bridge, he added. 

He requested the police to register an FIR against the nominated persons. 

PTI MPA Abdul Salam Afridi also accompanied Mehmood Jan at the time of submission of his application.
