Over 200,000 people vaccinated in a single day: Asad Umar

Federal Planning Minister and NCOC head Asad Umar shared good news with the nation on Wednesday saying the total number of vaccinations in one day has exceeded 200,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The ratio of people registering has also increased and so far the number of registrants has crossed five million.

He urged the public that if you are 40-year-old or older, register early and maintain the Covid-19 SOPs.

On Tuesday, the number of vaccinations administered to people succeeded over 150,000 for the first since the vaccine drive started.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Dr Faisal Sultan has already stated that Pakistan is expected to receive 19 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines by the first half of the ongoing year.
