Unidentified men shot dead Elite Force constable at Bhakkar near Mianwali, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.  

Sources in the police said Muhammad Boota, a resident of Chak No. 183 TDA, was on his way home from work that some men sprayed him with bullets on Khansar Road near Thul Canal, resulting in his instant death.  

Taking notice of the incident, District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ali Raza constituted teams, which were carrying out raids to arrest the assailants till the last reports came in. 

Later, the body of the deceased was shifted to the DHQ Hospital for the postmortem.
