Man takes own life after shooting son dead in Islamabad

A man took his own life Friday after shooting his son dead and injuring his wife and daughter-in-law in the Sihala police precincts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the police, the incident took place in Phase-2 of Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Islamabad.

A man named Muhammad Aziz opened fire on his wife Aneesa, son Rameez and daughter-in-law Nimra over some domestic issue.

His son Rameez died in firing by him while his wife and daughter-in-law were rushed to hospital in critical condition.

The accused took his own life after the incident, police said and added that evidence was collected from the spot and further investigation was underway.
