Two persons were killed and a woman was injured in firing of unknown motorcyclists at GPO Chowk in Mianwali, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

After the incident District Police Officer (DPO) Mianwali, Matiullah Khan and other officers reached the spot.

DPO directed investigation and forensic teams to collect evidence from the crime scene.

The deceased and injured woman were shifted to DHQ hospital.

According to police sources the murdered father and son belonged to the Shiekh community living in Gali Muhajirin.

Sources said that a few months ago, the deceased's son killed a young man near Jhamra Bridge.
