Pakistan Cricket Team Sunday reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup by defeating Bangladesh, drawing a series of interesting comments on the mainstream and social media, reported 24newsHd Tv channel.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif passed the most interesting comment as he greeted the national cricket team.

Skipper Babar Azam will be the prime minister in 2048, if the national team reclaims the 1992 World Cup-like victory, the defence minister said in a tweet.

He adds: “Pakistan has made it to the semi-finals by defeating Bangladesh, and now the national cricket team will face New Zealand in the semi-finals.

“If England beat India and the national team under Babar Azam win the semi-finals.  1992 will revisit if Pakistan win against England in the final and there is probability that Babar Azam would be our PM in 2048.”
