In a fresh tirade against rivals, former prime minister Imran Khan has described the chief election commissioner as dishonest and biased, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Thursday.

The chief election commissioner should have ethically resigned after the audio leaks, Imran Khan said while talking to a journalist at a meeting in Islamabad.

He said: “Audio leaks proved the connection between collusion between PML-N and the election commission. I will not appear before the election commission in any case. I am afraid of doing something that will send me to jail.

“The election commissioner is a tool of political engineers.  He had done delimitations on the orders of PML-N. He played a central role in stopping the EVMs. Overseas Pakistanis are being kept away from the political process."

“However I will challenge if the election rules are amended regarding overseas Pakistanis. Because of Tehreek-e-Insaf, overseas Pakistanis are being banned from joining the political process, but I ll protect their rights at all costs.

"The procedure of appointment of chief election commissioner, members and nab head should be changed, After the Daska election, it was found that the game was being played by someone else."

He asked the ECP to show progress on the funding cases of the PML-N and the PPP. Imran Khan said he is cent per cent sure there is a plan to disqualify him and he Khan will not return to the assembly under any circumstances.

He added:  “Since day one our opposition is not democratic but criminal.“I am grateful to the government for reviving the cypher. It is clearly written in the cypher that Imran Khan should be removed. How can users dig into THE cypher issue? The former premier stressed that the Tosha Khana case should be heard openly.”

Imran Khan said that the country cannot afford what will happen if transparent elections are not held.

He said the long march is around the corner. “We are coming with full preparation. Earlier we did not know how we would be treated. A sea of people will appear in the long march which no one can stop.

He said he never met the Chief Election Commissioner and Justice Faez Isa.

Imran Khan claimed that the biggest revolution would be in Sindh in the election, saying that when he went to Sukkur, the reaction of the people seemed as if Kashmir got freedom.

“The PPP cannot succeed in Sindh anymore. Imran Khan said that the flood of Sindh has swept away the PPP.”

Imran Khan said that after the no-confidence motion, he was neither watching TV nor mobile as per the rule of his cricket training.

But he added that Bushra Bibi showed him how many people took to the streets on her mobile phone.

“There was a blackout on TV and on social media. Too many people were out to support me. I was surprised.”
