Heavy rain buffets Lahore

Several parts of the metropolis gave a look of a pond as heavy rain lashed Lahore on Sunday, turning the weather pleasant for the public, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Rain-hit areas included Kot Lakhpat, Township, Industrial Area, Johar Town, Iqbal Town, and Green Town. Rain around Iqbal Town, Samanabad, Ichhra, Mozang, Mughalpura, Lal Pul, Fatehgarh, Tajpura, and Harbanspora. Gulshan Ravi, Chaubarji, Shamnagar, Sanda, and Civil Secretariat.

Met office predicted stormy rains in many areas of Punjab as a new spell of monsoon entered Pakistan yesterday.
