An FIR has been lodged by the police on the complaint of a man whose 13-year-old daughter, Alisha, was raped and murdered by her uncle in Lines Area of Karachi yesterday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per details, Alisha was found hanging with the ceiling in her home on Tuesday. The autopsy of the minor girl was conducted which confirmed that she was raped and strangled to death. Later, her body was hanged to portray her murder as a suicide.

Two sisters of the victim were in school and her brother and father were at work at the time of the incident.

Girl’s father lodged the complaint saying his addict brother, Mujibullah alias Nadeem, was behind the murder and rape of his daughter.

He said he found out about the rape when he took her daughter’s body to hospital.

Police are doing further investigations to probe the rape and murder case.

Later the police have arrested the accused. SSP East Abdur Raheem Shirazi said the accused was being interrogated.
