Security guard shot dead by robbers in Karachi

Robbers have killed a security guard last night in Gharibabad area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, four suspects on two motorcycles were robbing citizens when the Rangers reached.

During this time, the two accused escaped on a motorcycle and two others threw away their motorcycle and escaped. While fleeing, they tried to enter a nearby society.  

Meanwhile, the security guard stopped them and the accused escaped by shooting at him.

The father of the deceased, Qurban Ali says that they are poor people, the son was the father of three children and the family's bread winner, the accused should be caught and punished severely.

The Supervisor Security Company says that Waheed, the security guard of the society, fulfilled his responsibility.

The deceased Waheed was performing security duties in the area for six months. However, family left for Larkana for burial.

This year, the number of civilians killed by bandits has increased to 59 in the megacity.
